Gonzales Chamber of Commerce Events
Announcing:
Cinco de Mayo Celebration/Car Show
Sunday May 6th, 2007
at Central Park in Gonzales on 5th St.

Event will include:
Parade, Car Show, Mariachi Music, Foklorico dance performances by Alma y Corazon, Salinas, and Con Mexico en la Sangre, Gonzales, Food Booths, Vendors, Children's special area with games and jump houses, Live Music,educational Exhibit on Cinco de Mayo History, Salsa Contest with a Restaurant Category and an Individual Category. We expect around 3,000 -4,000 people in attendance.

Car Show Categories are:
Classic
Hot Rod
Low Riders
Import
Bike
Motorcycle
Best of Show

Sign up fee is $15 the pre-registration fee and $20 for registration the day of the event for all cars.  Bikes and Motorcycles are $10 for pre-registration, and $15 for day of registration.

 Show participants will register and line up for parade at 10 a.m. in parking lot behind Gonzales High School. Parade starts at 11 a.m. Judging will take place at 1:30 p.m. and winners announced at 3 p.m.

Directions:

  • From Hwy 101 N. Exit at Fifth St. Turn left, Park two blocks on right.
  • From Hwy 101 S. Exit at Fifth St., turn right, Park two blocks on right.

    Car show participants, follow same directions, you will be directed to registration site.

    Food Booth and Vendor applications now available. 12x12 space $75 for Members, $100 for non-Members.
